Set on 10 acres, Clary Sage Acres™ is a woman-owned, founder-led venture established by Patricia A. Clary, Ph.D., whose decades of leadership in public, nonprofit, and community service inform a thoughtful, disciplined approach to this new agricultural chapter. As an evolving organic farming endeavor, the farm reflects both a deep respect for the land and a willingness to learn its rhythms with care and intention—approaching agriculture not simply as production, but as stewardship.

Led by Patricia A. Clary, Ph.D., and Wayne Clary, our team blends academic leadership with a deep family heritage of working the land. From decades of community service to specialized fruit tree grafting, we bring a balance of learned knowledge and inherited wisdom to every acre.

Our Team & Vision
Working alongside Patricia is Wayne Clary, who serves as the farm’s horticulturist and cultivator. Wayne brings years of informal gardening experience shaped by a deep family heritage across Arkansas and California. His roots in Jackson County reflect a lineage where faith and farming were closely intertwined. On the West Coast, Wayne’s agricultural grounding was further shaped by his uncle, John D. Anderson, who practiced the craft of fruit tree grafting—an essential and highly skilled tradition.
Together, Patricia and Wayne bring a balance of vision and lived experience to Clary Sage Acres™. By honoring both formal training and generational knowledge, they ensure the farm serves as a place of learning and connection—offering wellness experiences and handcrafted goods that bring the benefits of clean agriculture into everyday living.
